This Returns and Refunds Policy explains our approach to cancellations, refunds, and returns for services provided by Ulquiorra Zeal Tech. We aim to be fair, transparent, and reasonable while protecting both our clients and the company.

Because most of our work involves custom creative, technical, and strategic services, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis depending on the project stage. This policy complies with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa and forms part of our commitment to clear communication throughout our 5-step process (Think • Business Services • Build • Tech Services • Grow).

At Ulquiorra Zeal Tech, we strive for complete client satisfaction with every project. However, due to the custom nature of our services (design, development, marketing, technical work, etc.), once work has commenced, refunds become limited. This policy clearly outlines the conditions under which cancellations and refunds may be granted. Please read it carefully before engaging our services. All refund requests will be assessed fairly and in accordance with South African law.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel a project at any time by providing written notice via email. If cancellation occurs before any work has started, we will refund 100% of any advance payment, less a reasonable administration fee (maximum 10%). Once the Think or Build phase has begun (including research, design concepts, or development), cancellation refunds will be calculated on a pro-rata basis for uncompleted work only.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds are considered in the following situations:

Project cancelled before any work begins
We are unable to deliver the agreed scope due to our own fault
Clear breach of contract on our part

Custom work such as website development, graphic design, mobile apps, branding, or marketing campaigns is generally non-refundable once delivered and approved by the client.

Non-Refundable Services

The following are generally non-refundable once work has started or been delivered:

Graphic design and branding concepts
Website or mobile app development (after approval of design or first milestone)
Content writing and SEO services
Marketing campaigns and advertising (after launch)
Hardware supply, repairs, and installations (via our partner Gosca)

Completed milestones that have been reviewed and approved by the client are considered final.

Refund Process

To request a refund, please send a written email to info@ulquiorrazealtech.co.za with your project reference and reason for the request. All requests will be reviewed within 7 business days. Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 14 business days. We reserve the right to deduct costs already incurred for work completed up to the point of cancellation.

Changes to Scope or Requirements

If you request significant changes to the project scope after work has commenced, additional fees may apply. In such cases, refunds will not be issued for previously agreed and completed work. We recommend finalising all requirements during the Think and planning phase to avoid complications later.

Governing Law

This Returns and Refunds Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa and complies with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA). Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
