Description
Per Hour is time-and-materials in Rand. Select the service, then the level if you use S / M / L as skill bands, or use /Hour as the billing unit. Time starts when work starts, with a one-hour minimum. Travel is not included; that is Call Out Fee. We log what was done. Open-ended hourly work suits edits, extra revisions, short consulting slots and tasks that are too small for a project pack. Ulquiorra Zealtech prices this against small-to-mid South African studio rates, which still sit under typical Belgian agency hours. Say in the notes if you need a cap (“stop at two hours”).
When hourly billing is the right fit
A button change, a banner, a CRM field, a payroll question, a plugin update, a coaching slot, or leftover work after Services handover. If the same task repeats every month, switch to Packages. If the site must stay patched, use Maintenance. If you need a reply in 24 hours, use Support.
Think and operations hours
Analysis, plans, coaching, consultations, CRM, investments, training, admin, payroll, HR, project management, business development and events — billed for the time used, not for a full document pack unless we agree that pack first.
Design, build and grow hours
Graphic, web, UI/UX, development, websites, apps, print files, installs planning, hardware/software, tech, repairs, advertising and marketing labour. Media spend, fonts, stock and print runs stay separate.
How to control the bill
Write the task in one paragraph. Approve extra hours before they start. After-hours is one and a half times unless the order says otherwise. Unused pre-bought hours can be used on the same service inside a reasonable period if the quote allows it.
Access and files
Send logins, brand files and the last brief. We will not guess missing copy. Live-site changes need a backup note first on production sites.
What Per Hour does not replace
Packages (retainers), Maintenance (planned care), Support (SLA tickets), Services (scoped projects), Call Out Fee (travel).
Buy hours when the job is small or unclear. Name the service, set a cap in the notes, then check out. Ask for a quote if you already know it will exceed a few hours — a Services or Package price is usually cleaner.
